WolframAlpha widget test

Testing a new widget.  It’s really exciting!  Well… not really, just trying it out.  Converts from degrees C to kelvins. It’s 293 degrees here, man that’s hot!

Problem solved today:

To make the ISO:

and to mount it:

mount -o loop /tmp/cd.iso /mnt/disk

How to reset the archive bit in NTFS

I’ve been plagued by a problem with my back up software thinking it has to back up everything again instead of working in a normal incremental fashion.  Turns out it was because something had changed the archive bit flag in all the files being backed up.

After much searching and head scratching I’ve finally worked out how to change this archive bit so that my backups work properly again.  To set files as archived and not needing backup, type the following from a command prompt:

attrib -a /s

and to set files as needing to be archived:

attrib +a /s
